4th Session of the General Meeting

The 4th session of the General Meeting of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia was held in Košice on 23rd July 2015.

Venue: Office of Košice Self-Governing Region, Námestie Maratónu mieru 1, Košice.
 

The 4th session of the General Meeting was opened by Török Dezső, chairmain of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited who greeted all the attendees.

Firstly, the attendees voted for approval of Amendment to the Internal Manual of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited. The support and unanimous approval was also given to the EUROVELO 11 project focused on cycle routes documentation.

The next issue to discuss was rectification of the budget of ETT 2015 Project, as well as adoption of co-financing. First of all, the ETT 2015 project is to finance the operation of the office of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited. The agenda of the 4th session of the General Meeting also included the adoption of financial statements and annual report of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited, the adoption of financial statements of Jövő Útja Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, as well as the acquaintance of the outcome of the audit carried out in the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited on 14th April 2015.

The General Meeting dealt with the revocation and appointment of members of the Supervisory Board. The new members of the Supervisory Board of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited are Béres László and Szeles András.

Consequently, Török Dezső, chairman of the Grouping noted that if a project is starting in the East of Hungary then there are always efforts made to involve the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited.

JUDr. Zdenko Trebuľa, president of Košice Self-Governing Region emphasized that the cooperation with Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén (BAZ) County gave rise to a fruitful and friendly relationship between two members of the EGTC Via Carpatia.
