The 5th General Meeting of EGTC Via Carpatia held in Miskolc

On 28th October 2015, in Miskolc, in the Office of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County the 5th General Meeting of EGTC was held.

The 5th session of the General Meeting was opened by Török Dezső, chairman of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited. Attendees:

For Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County: Török Dezső (Chairman of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited) and Szombatiné Sebők Emese (Deputy Director of the Office of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County), 

Dr. Bobkó Péter (employee of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County), Csontos László (press secretary of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County),

For Košice Self-Governing Region: JUDr. Zdenko Trebuľa (Vice-Chairman of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited), Ing. István Zachariaš, (Vice-President of Košice Self-Governing Region), Ing. Julianna Orbán Máté, PhD. (Director of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited)), Ing. Timea Popélyová (administrative assistant in the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia Limited).

Once the agenda approved, members of the General Meeting approved the Amendment to the Internal Manual and then also the inventory of tangible property of EGTC Via Carpatia and Jövő útja Kft.

Since one member of the Grouping resides in Miskolc and the other one in Košice and there is a need to make a fast decision, the EGTC Via Carpatia made a suggestion for electronic voting which was adopted unanimously by the General Meeting.

Next, a proposal of both Grouping and Jövő Útja Kft budget was submitted and adopted for the continued operation.

The EGTC Via Carpatia envisages to announce in Košice Self-Governing Region and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County a prize competition for the students in the 4th and 5th year of the selected three universities, focused on regional development and project management. Furthermore, the authors of the best projects from the Košice Self-Governing Region shall get the opportunity to undergo their work experience directly in EGTC Via Carpatia, and the authors of the best projects from Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County shall get the opportunity to undergo their work experience directly in the Office of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County where also the EGTC Via Carpatia information point within HUSK Programme shall be located.

The General Meeting also agreed to delegate the study to EGTC Via Carpatia.

Finally, the GM members discussed the daily news and the possibilities of cooperation.
